NSRF subsidy for the construction of an e-shop of 5,000 euros - "e-retail" program

Subsidy for e-shop: With the "e-retail" program of the NSRF, thousands of retail businesses are given the possibility of a grant for the construction of an e-shop.

The "e-retail" Action aims at subsidizing SMEs for the creation or upgrade of an online store (e-shop) in order to support their operation during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), to strengthen the degree of integration of digital technology and their digital transformation, to avoid overcrowding in indoor spaces and to ensure the continuity of their economic activity.

Target Audience

– Medium, small and very small businesses operating in the retail sector, maintaining a physical store and their operation has been suspended for at least one day from Wednesday 18 March 2020 onwards.

– Businesses are divided into: Existing, which have been established up to 30.09.2019

– Newly incorporated, which have been incorporated from 01/10/2019 onwards, until 07/11/2020.

March 18, 2020 is set as the start of eligibility for expenses.

The Action is expected to be announced within the month of January 2021 and the submission period will be announced in the Invitation and will last at least thirty (30) days.

For funding from this Action, it is required to submit a Funding Application on an electronic platform that will be announced with the publication of the Action's Detailed Call, to which the following will be attached, among others:

Status of active activities (KAD) of the business through the gsis.gr website

Documents for the supply of equipment and services for the creation or upgrade of the company's online store

Evidence of the creation/upgrade of the online store (e.g. email address)

Photos of the Physical Store with its identification and location details visible.

Subsidy for e-shop: Terms and conditions

Subsidy for e-shop: Businesses should, among other things, satisfy the following conditions:

– have RETAIL as their MAIN Activity (KAD 47 and its Analyticals with the exception of the fishing sector and the trade of tobacco and tobacco products)- – Existing: date of acquisition of the MAIN KAD by 9/30/2019.

– New members: date of acquisition of the MAIN CARD from 1/10/2019 to 7/11/2020.

– to maintain a Physical Retail Store, i.e. a commercial space that welcomes and serves customers

– their operation has been suspended for at least one day from Wednesday 18 March 2020 onwards

– to have completed (implementation, invoicing, payment and accounting of the relevant costs) in the period from 03/18/2020 until and before the submission of the application, the creation or upgrade of an online store that will meet the following conditions:

– to work in two languages as well as in a mobile device environment – mobile responsive, to be accompanied by ordering, warehouse and electronic payment software

- to ensure the access of people with disabilities (PWDs) to all the electronic services offered.

Subsidy for e-shop: What is funded

– Servers for hosting applications – software required for the creation/upgrade and operation of an online store, with its accompanying components (keyboards, screen, etc.) and the required operating system. Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) acquisition is also permitted

– Computers (Desktop/Laptop)

– Other technological equipment related to the creation/upgrade and operation of an online store (e.g. network equipment, Bar code readers, printers, etc.)

-E-shop design, development/upgrade and management services including ordering, warehouse and electronic payment software and Hosting services (hosting, collocation, etc.)

– Development and/or certification of a digital security policy.

Budget

Subsidy for e-shop: The Action's budget is 80,000,000 euros. The Action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and by national resources.
